General Terms and Conditions of International Tourism & Business College BV (ITB College)

1. Enrollment and Admission Requirements

  • To enroll in a program, students must complete and sign the ITB College Enrolment Contract.

  • The language of instruction is English, and the program is delivered online/virtually.

  • Admission requires students to be at least 18 years of age.

  • Students are entitled to receive a signed copy of their Enrolment Contract upon registration.

2. Attendance and Class Participation

  • Students can attend virtual classes or online training. 

  • Students must notify ITB College of any absences in advance.

  • Class schedules are subject to change, and ITB College reserves the right to alter course material based on class size.

3. Payment of Fees

  • Admission Fee 50% of the program tuition. â€‹

  • Exam re-writes (€75.00 each),

  • Re-issuance of diplomas/certificates (€150.00),

  • Transcript re-issuance (€80.00).​

  • Full Refund: Provided if the contract is rescinded within 14 days of signing or if ITB College discontinues the program before completion.

  • Partial Refund Online Students : Available if a student cancels their enrollment after 14 days but before the program start date. You are eligible for a refund of the fees paid, except for the 500 euros. This fee covers the administrative costs incurred during the processing of your permit.

  • No Refunds: Students withdrawing or expelled from the program after 14 days from the start date are not eligible for a refund.

  • ITB College may charge students for any books or equipment already issued.

5. Examination Policies

  • Exams are scheduled according to the course plan, and students must follow all instructions provided by instructors, including switching off electronic devices.

  • Grades are assigned within 4 weeks of the examination date and will be provided in writing. Inquiries about exam grades must be submitted in writing to ITB College.

  • Exam Rewrites: Students may rewrite an exam once for a fee of €75.00. A second failure requires retaking the course at 50% of the current tuition fee.

  • Missed Exams: Students missing a final exam will be marked absent, recorded as a "Fail," and counted as one exam attempt.

6. Academic Requirements

  • A passing grade is 60%, with grades distributed as follows: Final Exam (60%), Attendance (10%), Projects/Assignments (20%), and Quizzes/Case Studies (10%).

  • Students failing to achieve 60% may choose to retake the course (at a 50% tuition discount) or rewrite the exam (fee €75.00).

7. Diplomas and Certificates

  • Diplomas and certificates are only issued when full payment is made and exam in complete.

  • Reissuance of diplomas or certificates costs €150.00; transcript reissuance is €80.00.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

  • ITB College collects and processes personal data as per its Privacy Policy, which adheres to GDPR regulations.

  • Data may be used for academic purposes, communication, and improving services.

9. Intellectual Property

  • Course materials and content provided by ITB College are for educational use only and cannot be reproduced or shared without permission.

10. Amendments

  • ITB College reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Updates will be communicated to students and published on the ITB College website.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in accordance with Dutch law.
